Before you publish: a practical conversion review

Five checks for a page you can confidently hand to your team.

1. Match the comparison

Use the same viewport dimensions for the source and WordPress draft. Check fonts, image crops, vertical spacing and container widths. A comparison between different viewport sizes can hide the real issue.

2. Read every section

Look for missing copy, broken characters and repeated placeholders. Confirm that assets belong to the correct section and links go to the intended destinations. Permission to reproduce the source remains your responsibility.

3. Exercise behavior

Open tabs, move sliders and use menus with both pointer and keyboard. Check whether reduced-motion preferences and smaller screens expose a problem. Record unsupported behavior rather than silently accepting a static substitute.

4. Save a real editor change

Change representative text, an image and a repeated item in Gutenberg. Save, reopen and check the front end. A round trip tests the structure more effectively than simply selecting a block.

5. Keep the release deliberate
