Your first editable WordPress page
From a source design to a separate WordPress draft, with checks at every step.
What you need
Use a WordPress site you administer, an AI2WP account with connection access, and an AI client with remote HTTP MCP support. Web clients can connect for WordPress tools; the full conversion workspace needs files and a browser to inspect the design and test the editor. AI subscriptions and model usage are provided by you.
1. Try the editor
View the three live examples without signing in. Choose Try editing when you want to change one, then sign in with Google. AI2WP continues to that example and opens a temporary WordPress editing session without asking you for another password. Demo access does not unlock your own-site connection tools.
2. Connect your website
Open Plugin & setup. Download the plugin, install its ZIP from WordPress โ Plugins โ Add New โ Upload Plugin, and activate it. Follow the wizard to register the HTTPS domain and pair it using the short-lived code. Continue when the platform reports the site connected.
3. Connect your AI
Open MCP connections. Choose your client and add the MCP URL. Complete browser sign-in and choose your domain and permissions; manual bearer tokens are an alternative for compatible clients. Ask the AI to list its authorized sites and inspect your destination.
4. Prepare the conversion
Download the AI workspace from the setup wizard and extract it on your computer. Open that folder in Codex or Claude Code. Create a Conversion brief with the source URL and the destination, then copy its ready-made prompt into that workspace.
5. Review before publishing
The AI analyzes, builds, preflights and creates a separate draft. Compare desktop and mobile layouts, then edit content in Gutenberg, save and reopen it. Resolve failures before publishing through WordPress. Your existing homepage is not automatically replaced.
