Use https://ai2wp.site/mcp in your AI client's remote MCP settings. Claude.ai and ChatGPT web use browser authorization. Coding clients can use the same sign-in or a private manual token. You do not need to put a secret in your prompt.
Choose your connection method
Start with the client you already use. The instructions below include browser apps as well as coding environments.
Choose the access you grant
The approval screen starts with read-only access to one selected WordPress site. You may explicitly allow draft editing or all eligible domains, including future ones. Connections last up to 30 days, with automatically refreshed short-lived access tokens. Revoke a connection from your dashboard at any time.

Verify before making changes
Ask your AI to list your authorized sites, then inspect the exact domain you select. Every later call should carry that site's site_id. A successful inspection confirms the connection without using a free conversion.
Connection is not the whole conversion
Web clients can use the gateway's WordPress tools. Rebuilding a complete design also needs assets, local or cloud files, browser rendering and Gutenberg checks. Our downloadable conversion workspace currently targets Codex and Claude Code. Check the capabilities of your chosen environment instead of assuming every chat has a terminal or visual browser.
Troubleshooting
No custom-connector option? Check your AI provider's plan and workspace policy. No eligible site? Finish pairing and confirm your AI2WP access. Expired authorization? Reconnect from the client. A read-only connection cannot edit; approve a new connection with draft editing if needed. Never send a token to support.
