Set up free xSpeed Cache after conversion
An optional performance follow-up that starts with your site’s existing cache and a reversible baseline.
Start with permission and the existing setup
xSpeed Cache is a WordPress performance plugin from the WPDeveloper family. It is optional; AI2WP conversion does not require it. Ask your AI to inspect installed plugins and current caching first. Do not install a second page cache over an existing one without reviewing the conflict.

Install and review the wizard
After you approve installation, use WordPress Plugins → Add New, find xSpeed Cache, install and activate. Open xSpeed Cache → Setup Wizard. Read the compatibility checks and the exact changes proposed before applying.
- Save the existing settings and note which plugin owns page caching. Prefer a staging check for a business-critical site.
- Review the recommended Balanced preset. Keep JavaScript minification and defer off initially; verify the actual toggles in your version.
- Choose the usage-data option yourself. Do not let an assistant silently accept an analytics preference.
- Apply only the settings you approved, then read the Summary. On nginx, review the server snippet with your host; the plugin cannot assume it has applied server configuration.

Test the page again
Check the published page as a visitor and the Gutenberg editor as an editor. Test menus, sliders, mobile layout and forms. For stores or memberships, also check cart, checkout and logged-in behavior. Enable additional optimizations one at a time; revert the last setting if something breaks. Keep the report URLs and the setting change together so the next test is meaningful.

Connect AI control separately
AI2WP’s MCP does not grant xSpeed settings access. Use xSpeed Hub or the plugin’s supported MCP connection if you want your AI to inspect or configure caching. Without that connection, the AI should guide you through WordPress rather than claim it changed settings.
